MY NOLA TRIP

We took our first out of state trip with Antonio in October and let me tell you we had a blast! Carlos had a work trip in New Orleans, so naturally we tagged along, and I'm so glad that we did.

I was a little nervous with Antonio's first flight. You guys, I'm such a nerd and you can definitely tell we are NEW PARENTS, because we thought we had everything packed and ready and we would have a smooth start to our trip....YEAH RIGHT! We had planned on leaving our house 3 hours before our flight departed, and we ended up leaving 2 hours before. Time was going by so fast that morning, but we were on a mission to get boarded early.

Well we arrived and got everything unloaded (I wish I would have taken a picture to show you guys just how much we packed. It was a bit much..lol). Our mission came to big HAULT when we were trying to check in because they asked us for identification for Antonio. My first thought was, he's a year old I don't have a passport for him, but hello I'm his mom! After 30 minutes of going back and forth we finally figured out a solution, lucky for me I had just downloaded our insurance app a week prior, because my co workers urged to join the reward system, thank goodness I did. All I had to do was show them proof of when Antonio was added to my insurance and then we were on our way. Once we boarded (which I barely made it in time for pre-boarding, Antonio did great. I had packed snacks and it was a short flight. Everyone thought he was so cute.

We stayed at the New Orleans Marriott hotel,
